I do agree on the Cien though!

What I'm trying to (badly) say is that it's taking GM longer to answer 2 totally new supercars with a version of an existing one than it took longer to make than what it took the other 2 quazi-American companies (both with supposedly with less resources than GM) to create their cars from scratch.
The contradiction is in that I said in another thread that performance versions of a car should be made after the initial car comes out. In this, the Z06 then the "BD" Corvette fit right into what I posted.
The problem (which created my conumdrum of an opinion) is that a version of the Corvette is also being used as a GM version of the Ford GT or DaimlerChrysler ME Four-Twelve.
I guess it all depends on if you see the "BD" Corvette as an ultimate Corvette, or a late and underwhelming competitor to the GT or ME Four-Twelve.

Fair enough.... I would totally agree with this if we were talkign about Cien, but if Blue Devil is actually a variant of Corvette, then it is a different situation.
Maybe if the C6 would have been out for MY2004, everything would have been pushed up a year... that may have helped.

Yea! Like he said.

Truthfully I'd rather see the Cadillac Sixteen. That is what is going to get the blood riled up in the hearts of men worth billions of dollars. Ultimate in luxury.

Hell I'd like to see BOTH the Cien and the Sixteen built.
Then it'd be...
GM to other carmakers: "HA HA we have TWO supercars!!
"
