The GT should be 500hp/500lb-ft of Tq according to the ratings. If it's anything like the Cobra and Lightning, it could possibly be underrated. We'll see. Give it the Supercooler which i think it'll have, and actual output can be as high as 550-570hp. I wonder what a KB twin screw and smaller blower pulley will do for it. 600+rwhp potential? Gotta love factory blowers.

That baby lambo is hot. Looks just like it's big brother. Tough choice since i really like the GT, but i'd rock the lambo given the choice.

I think most people who are obsessed with "NAME" will take the Lambo. Expect long lines and big price gouges.

Won't the GT still have the 4.6 DOHC? If so, i doubt you will get much more out of it with a pulley change or different blower. I would think that 500 hp is close to the limit of warrentied hp for that motor.

By the way, I noticed 5.0, that you are from Bloomington. I used to live in Eden Prarie, MN a number of years back. It might be my favorite place I have lived.

.
I wouldnt count on it.He was speaking of the KB twin screw.Which is an upgrade for the 03 Cobras.Just putting this thing on is more hp.The tester for KB (KennBell) has a 03 that has Dyno'ed at 690 RWHP I think it was.Yeah boosted to f-k but hey it IS hp Oh yeah thats with a slush-o-matic

The GT is suppoed to have a 32 Valve 5.4L---not a 4.6L

Little Lambo looks nice--I've heard concepts on that idea for at least 10 years--hard to believe it's finally going ahead.

One thing I don not like is AWD on sports cars!

It's a 30/70 split in favor of the rear...I don't think you'll have any trouble throwing the tail out on command. The Diablo VT was also AWD.

The Ford GT/40 will have a S/c 5.4L Dohc, not 4.6L. It's also supposed to be different then the Lightning 5.4. I think one article has said that it's "conservatively rated" at 500hp. I think they were just going off on speculation alone though.

What a coincidence. I was just in the process of changing my location to "Twin Cities" cause no one knows (except for the locals) where Bloomington is. Eden Prairie is a nice place and is about 10 minute drive from my place. Downtown Minneapolis is just a 12 minute drive on a good day too since i live right off the highway.

So what made you move to GA? You miss the snow? This years so mild here (except for 2 or 3), i didn't even bother putting the stang in storage.

I remain skeptical BUT I guess I'd have to try it out before passing judgement on it.

Anyone got 50K I can borrow so I can test drive it?

Should beat a 360 Modena

Baby Lambo's.

Wonder how light it really is.. Guess we'll have to wait till someone tests one.

Wonder how many redline clutch drops launches it can withstand.
