Local GM Dealership is Being Stripped of GM Cars

People are coming into the office today telling us that GM is picking up all of the new car inventory from our local GM dealership which sells all GM except Saturn, Hummer, & Saab. They're people from GM even taking down the GM signage around the dealership. Sounds like they must have violated something to get revoked from GM like this?

Last summer this same dealership also sold Chrysler products on the same grounds and the exact same thing happened. Now the lot only has a few used cars left. Someone else has opened a new Chrysler dealership in town, back last fall. I just hope we don't have to go without GM for very long.

Just read an article in the local paper saying that the dealership is closed. The owner Jeff Sachs has closed it due to the bad economy. But the paper states that GM has bought back the franchise.

There website is still up.

Lots of comments are being posted about this on the online article about it being more than the economy. The dealership does not have a good reputation in town. I really hope we get a good GM dealership next time, if someone opens it back up.
