Yep unfortunately DCX killed the 300 vert plans several months ago. Im sure ASC wasn't happy to hear it.

Definitely something different to look at in the Jeep lineup.

I'm so bored with Jeeps styling now it's not even funny. I used to think they were cool when i was like, 16...

That's why I'm so into the H3. It's got the offroad prowess and DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A JEEP!!!! Not to mention the reasonable price. My wife even likes it, LOL.

I remember the old Jeep pickups. My dad had two and they were the best trucks the family has ever had. I hope Jeep builds the Gladiator! They for sure have at least one possible buyer.

I like it, just make sure it gets that Diesel from the Liberty.

Seems people get Jeeps and run them till they rust in half 50 years later.
I never gave Jeeps any consideration till I lived in Hawaii 10 years ago. Wranglers are the idea vehicle here in San Fran because you don't have to worry about some homeless people breaking in (though a few people I know have had to shoo away some thst crawled in the back to sleep overnite), they are incredibly short & versitile, and "Eco-terrorist" for some odd reason or another love them.

Although I'd buy a used Lightning if I were to get a pickup, a Jeep pickup would be cool IMHO, and there shouldn't be any debate at all on if it should be made.

the styling is like 1940 all over again. I actually like it. looks really rugged without looking ragged.

EDIT: come to think of it, isn't it kind of ironic that Jeep is owned by ze Germans now?
