Lexus issues recall for fuel line in US

Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling 49,000 Lexus cars sold in the U.S. and worldwide as 215,020 of the vehicles sold in Japan because of a faulty fuel pipe that could lead to a fuel leaks.

The recall covers the Lexus GS350, Lexus IS250, Lexus IS350 and Mark X sedans manufactured between December 2003 and December 2005, according to a report the automaker filed with the Japanese transport ministry.

Toyota said no accidents have been reported because of the defect.

I know it's mean,and I know every automaker has their issues, but it really makes my day when I hear stuff like this about Toyota.

Ohh they just do that..its nothing..actually its the car saving weight by draining fuel from its hose and keeping fresh fuel in the lines....its a Lexus..now if my Malibu was doing that its a POS..leaking on the ground..
