But I always considered the Camaro to be a P-51.....that is if you ignore the P-51's nickname.

 

Nice post. I always think of the Camaro as a P61. Heavy, fast, powerful, and amazing manuravable (sp?) and, most important, feared by ALL of the compitition.

Plus, P61s were jet black like my car

 

I always thought of P-61's as Buick Roadmasters.

Damn PacerX I think we need to bottle that post turn it into liquid form and make every engineer at GM drink only that for the next 3 years till we get our BIG GUN BACK.

My favorite form would be the new GM 632 cubic inch big block with 620hp and 6 speed. That would rattle some cages and kick some A?S

Like I said, I think we will have done all the work for GM except actually manufacturing the camaro.
