Lambda Spy photo

Found this on C&G. I think the proportions look great. If the interior is as good as I am expecting I could see my wife in a Lambda in a few years, I WILL have a Camaro!

Re: Lambda Spy photo

Mary had a little Lambda
lol , that title is hilarious .

If it follows the lines of the aura and sky Im sure it will look great . So whats the point of the Theta chassis then and REALLY whats the point of the almost tahoe priced trailblazer . Guess Im not getting why so many SUV's that dont appear to much different in size .

Re: Lambda Spy photo

Looks too much like the current suv/van things they got. Which, IMO, are some of the ugliest things to come out recently.

If it doesn't have a third row, they shouldn't even bother.

Re: Lambda Spy photo

Shouldn't GM be working on something like the Ford Freestyle?
I think that's a great idea.
GM should have a vehicle to bury the Freestyle.

Re: Lambda Spy photo

Hrm...no idea what to make of it? Its not big enough to compete with the Pacifica, and it doesnt look like it would replace the Vue? Maybe this is a SWB Lambda?

Re: Lambda Spy photo

The Freestyle is dead in '07? It just came out.
Are you sure you're not thinking of their minivan, the Freestar? I believe those will be dead in the near future.

Re: Lambda Spy photo

I was serious...what's the market for these?

I thought I heard the 'cute utes' (Toyota Rav-4 and Honda CRV) but that looks too big and low slung for that.

It's hard to tell from the photos, it could go up against the Pacifica and Freestyle, maybe it's in between those two?

Re: Lambda Spy photo

Looks big enough for a third row to me.....

If this current habit of good looking vehicles from Saturn (whoodathunkit.....?)continues, they should be wiping their *** with the Pacifica......

*Note the properly proportioned wheels

Re: Lambda Spy photo

Lambdas are far bigger than the Theta vehicles. The whole point of these is to be a platform for larger "crossovers" and unibody SUVs. They are not small. I'd say Pacifica, Freestyle (which Autoweek says is going away soon ), Acura MDX, Honda Pilot, etc. etc. are all potential competitors.

3rd rows will be offered. And they have NOTHING in common with the current minivans (oops, I mean "crossover sport vans" ). Nor will they look like those vans.
