LaCrosse Super?
LaCrosse Super?
Wall Street Journal
ORLANDO, Fla. -- General Motors Corp. (GM) announced some additions and subtractions to its Pontiac and Buick lines to dealers here a few days after its sales chief vowed a "renaissance" for the two model lines.
Buick will get an "uplevel version" of the Buick LaCrosse sedan that will include new exterior trim and a new engine, Buick spokesman David Darovitz confirmed Tuesday. He said no price has been decided.

Re: LaCrosse Super?
It sounds like they are trying to polish a terd.

I'm with you, just can't warm up to it, especially after driving a supercharged, Regal GS with sport suspension and twin-piston calipers etc,etc.......'like the wheels tho......
Maybe it'll replace Lacrosse, just call it a Super...or Special.
Re: LaCrosse Super?
why all the hate against the lucerne its a DTS for a LOT less money. and it is incredibly comfortable and quiet. And its going up against Lexus so maybe thats why it looks closer to a lexus than say... a vette. Although i do think at times it can look a little bit off but its still a nice car. (im trying to convince my dad to sell his 04 ES330 and buy a lucerne... hes like no.
Re: LaCrosse Super?
GM needs to start thinking "why" as opposed to "why not" when coming up with new models. Sure, the LaCrosse Super is easy, given that the Impala SS and GP GXP have the mechanics, but why does Buick need it when Pontiac is in the same showroom.

Basically it is NOT the same car an it won't steal any sales of the GP GXP, maybe Impala SS but not the harsher GXP.
