Kumho rolls out scented tires
so will they release their "scent" with normal driving, or just when you do a smokey burnout, cause they said it was aimed at female buyers, and with scents like "lavender" or whatever i can tell they are. But not to many females
will be doing much of that
who drive such vehicles as the Chrysler Sebring, Ford Taurus, Honda Accord, Subaru Outback and Toyota Camry,
Naw, scorchers were BF Goodrich, neat idea, terrible marketing, dead tire. I remeber going to a BFG product demnonsrtation. They compared it to a 40 series Yokohoma (BFG was 45 or 50 series), the scorcher offered better handling and steering response with the taller tire. To bad when the scorchers first hit the market, BFG was like "Hey look at the pretty colors" and didn't really say, "Awesome performance and as an added incentive, hey look at the pretty colors", Well they did, but it was just to late. Before the scorchers died out, they were all black across the tread. I dont think BF Goodrich brought in a replacement (probably wasn't worth it) since they had the GForce KD(W & S) tires and the GForce Sports are really for the cheap **** import crowd.
