Exactly!

Kinda funny to see how so many people change their minds instantly when you slap 600hp, big rims and some other stuff on a car which still generally looks as ugly as before.

Guys would probably be drooling all over a 500hp V8 Hyundai Accent, too.

Matter of taste, of course...

THe front is still ugly but the rest looks great, that is what the original should have looked like (minus the front end).

I've seen that Aztek before, I didn't kno w it had a 665HP 7.0L V8

I think it looks a little too much like the Toyota Matrix, but other than that I like it.

geeee, did you two even read the article before posting comments?

the origami rear end has been angled downward, rounded out a bit and fitted with a new spoiler. Door handles, mirrors and front fascia also get fittingly refashioned.

Flared fenders swoop over the wheel wells —complete with gill-slit vents—and positively dominate the design.

two pairs of four-inch exhaust tips emerge ahead of the rear wells

All this bodywork does a lot to address the tippy-tall disproportion of the original design

Those 4 changes have made the aztek look much better....so much so that I would have even considered it instead of the trailblazer we bought in Feb. The bottom half of this aztek makes a world of difference!!!

I would suggest before you skim though an article and glace over pictures before assuming that everyone likes it only because of the powertrain, ...............that you ummmmm......dont do that, or something.......

sorry, I am having a bad day!

I like the overall scope BEHIND this concoction. The GMPD basically saying "we can take our worst car and make it whoop a$$ now imagine what we can do with our better vehicles".

Wow, that looks good! I have never really disliked the Aztek so that has never been a problem. Of course the 7.0 liter doesn't hurt either. I wish there were more shots. Anyway, I like it.

I just don't know wht they didn't just have a suttle redesign and hope a better design would be better.

although, maybe with too many brands selling a version they were afraid of too much overlap and desided just to end production
There are Chevy and Saturn Aztek-variants in the pipeline? I've never heard that; obviously there is the Buick version. If you're referring to the Saturn Vue, I believe that is completely unrelated.

Yeah, that's a nice statement and all, but I (and I'm sure others) would have been more impressed with a salable GMPD car that delivered the same message.

I guess in not dissimilar fashion to our own send off Woodward cars, this is a glimpse of what could have been for another soon-to-be deceased model.

VUE and Equinox are on the new Theta architecture... Aztek and Rendezvous are a variant of the current Venture/Montana/Silhouette minivan platform that will be replaced by the Lambda architecture coming out soon with Chevy Uplander, Pontiac Montana SV6, Saturn Relay, and Buick Terazza.

hmm, I think the front end looks nice(maybe it's the angle on the picture). No matter what you say, I am right and you are wrong!

At least you don't need a disguise to ride in that.
