Not much to be said, the Z06 is just ridiculous

 

I've been waiting for these sorts of numbers to be popping up. After driving the car a couple of times at MPG, I talked to one of the engine calibrators who had spent lots of time with the car (and who also tunes engines on his own outside the company).

He had told me way back then that the car was basically a cam swap away from 600-650 crank hp. Looks like they are approaching 600 crank hp (546 rwhp) with a "level 2" cam and headers...

Good Lord, the LS7 is just badass. Sick indeed...

 

lets just hope these days keep coming for a while, and we don't get a 30+ year break like last time.

 

Thats disgusting, a cam and headers and they are pushing those numbers, they make it look too easy.

 

Okay, lets put it into perspective, 427 CID with a set of heads that flow better than many old school bigblock cylinderheads. Is it any wonder this engine is so capable of producing power?
