No Mexican Foci for about 5 years now.

The Aveo will also be built in the US, btw.
This information alone may sway me for an SVT Focus if they bring them back. Thanks for the update LightningGal!

GM's gameplan is to steer sport compact buyers to the smaller Aveo.

And yes, Ford will have at least one very hot version of the Focus coming up.

That's because we have self-proclaimed environmentalists in Sacramento that don't have a clue of what being green truly means.

If so, they'd better step it up. The RS version is purely cosmetic.

So I'd assume the LS and Eco will weigh right around there or less. Will the LTZ have 400 pounds in extra equipment?

GM shakeup continues: Chevy marketing chief ousted

Chris Perry, who was named vice president of marketing at Hyundai just three months ago, will replace Campbell as vice president of marketing. Perry has worked at Hyundai since 2000; his previous employers included Isuzu. Perry is a colleague of Joel Ewanick, GM's vice president of U.S. marketing, who left Hyundai earlier this year.

Campbell co-authored the infamous company memo this summer that urged GM employees to refer to the brand as Chevrolet, not "Chevy."
