It's official... Darth has a new Tie Fighter!!
Picked up my new 2004 GTO this afternoon...
M6, Impulse Blue with Blue Leather!!!
Pics to come.
On the way back to the office, I stopped at Subway to get a sandwich... I watched 3 different people come up to the car, and walk around it checking it out whiel I was in line!
Didn't expect that, to be honest.

Congrats! Nice color choice too!
While we are talking about GTO's, I've got to relate this little story told by my brother this morning... He was tooling down the road in his 04 GTP when he "looks up to see this 'Cavalier' behind him riding his azz", he starts to punch it but decides not to, in a minute the car passes and he catches a glimpse of the "GTO" emblem on the rear deck. Now he is not really a car guy but his first impression was "Cavalier". That should tell GM something! 
While we are talking about GTO's, I've got to relate this little story told by my brother this morning... Congrats! I always thought of this forum as a community that was a little broader than the title said, so I'm all for hearing good news about member's lives posted here.

Good stuff Darth! I had a chance to get up close to a GTO and really look over the car about 3 weeks ago and I have absolutely fallen in love with the car. That Impulse Blue is a sweet color too! Have to get some pics up soon so we can see this new "Tie Fighter"

An excellent one, IMO.
My payments are cheaper than the Monte was, I got to "skip" a monthly payment (even though it was taken out of my trade-in) , Got a nice check back for equity in my Monte too.
If anyone is considering a GTO, and not overly concerned about the 2005 upgrades, the time to deal is now... the dam has broken so to speak.
I thought about holding out for the 05 and the LS2, but I figured the rebates wouldn't be there till this time next year on it, and I didnt want to wait another year...

I couldn't agree more... even when somethign good happens to some of the people that don't exactly see eye to eye with me, I'm always glad to hear about it!
