However, I think he's trying to say that GM's not giving up on RWD. At this point, the Zeta is three years old. It's too late for the 2010 model year, so the earliest you would have seen a Caprice would have been MY 2011 -- near the end of the life cycle. It makes more sense to focus efforts on a new product, whether that be Alpha or Zeta-next.
No real point. The Sigma chassis may be more expensive - but it is getting the job done and the CTS has things going pretty good at the moment.
Cadillac would *not* like that one bit. Honestly, I think we're just better off looking forward toward alpha. It's the more important chassis anyway (if it ends up actually the first truly global GM RWD chassis).
