Thank you for contacting the Pontiac Customer Assistance Center. I appreciate you taking the
time to write us in regards to the return of the Pontiac Firebird.
I apologize but currently Pontiac has not made any decisions that would suggest the return of
the Firebird. Although the Firebird has always had focused appeal, Pontiac will continue the

and the Equinox is coming out for 2006.
Again I am sorry that Pontiac has not chosen to bring back the Firebird at this time, and I
encourage you to check our website for up to date press releases on this matter. I have noted
you dissatisfaction under case number 1-323414416.
If you should need to contact us in the future, simply reply to this message or call our Pontiac
Customer Assistance Center at 1-800-222-1020. Customer Relationship Managers are available
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Eastern Time.
Again, thank you for contacting Pontiac.

And why on earth would they mention the G6 when someone asks about the Firebird? I know they just have to keep enthusiasm for the brand going but talk about comparing apples to oranges...
