I agree! Is there a way to hotwire that sunroof motor in place of the motor that powers my Camaro window?

OMG! That was one DISTURBED commercial!!!

As a cat lover I really hate to say this, and I know this will come as a shock to all of you, but damn, that commercial was funny!

The leaked turned-down ad seems the most likely story. I just can't imagine putting that on tv, even in less conservative Europe.

As the owner of two cats, it did get my attention and will be remembered (mission accomplished I suppose)--BUT DAMN!!

Not funny. The sad thing is that will inspire real copycat cruelty. There are enough sick f**ks out there that we don't need to stir the pot further and give them fresh ideas or suggest that this is an acceptable thing to do (which to a an already messed up impressionable mind it would be). That kind of thing is enough to turn me off of a manufacturer. Dip****s.

I just cant seem to get my hands on enough cats...

Comon man. If theres someone screwed up enough to try something that twisted due to seeing a TV commercial, they probably need to be locked in a padded room anyway.

Wow, you scare me more than the people that made the commercial I seriously doubt there are going to be a string of mass cat killings now because of this commercial If anyone kills a cat like shown in this commercial then that person had serious issues to begin with and this commercial had nothing to do with their behaviour. On top of that, IT'S A FREAKING JOKE!!! Get over it already.

Disclaimer - No cats were harmed in the filming of this commercial...

That's not what I heard. It's my understanding that the shoot took 32 takes and that 32 poor little kitty cats (just like the infernal beasts that leave scratches on my hood) were decapitated for that commercial.

I dunno. It's just what I read.

hilarious!

as for the copycat (no pun intended) animal cruelty beliefs....give me a break. if someone were to copy this stunt, they would have harmed the same cat in a different manner. this isnt going to cause anyone who normally wouldnt do this to start.

Ya know, from what I understand of European network TV, they're by no means conservative, at least compared to the US.

Funny *** comercial, whoever up there thinks people are gonna start killing cats with their sunroofs cuz they saw it on TV is a moron. Stupid attitudes like that are why we get GM higher ups in here going "well we don't want to show the cars driving fast because we might get sued!" and talking about how that Toyota ad is CRAZY GO WILD when all it is is a car driving.
