Just on the subject of Cobalt and Mustang. In the US the Cobalt is priced at what, $21,995 and the Mustang at $24,995?

Interestingly, I wanted to do a little comparison to Canadian prices. Ford Mustang GT in Canada starts at $32,795 CDN (converted to $26,945 USD). Cobalt SS supercharged actually starts at $24,995, which if converted to USD is $20,538.

$3000 USD difference between those two cars translates to nearly $7,000 in Canada !!!

2004 Mustang was priced at $32,xxx as well, and it looks like it's not going down, despite the current exchange rate. The new one should be $30,000.

That's a bummer.

I believe he was talking about the v6 Stang versus the cobalt ss, who would be shopping for a v8 gt and be buying a cobolt? lol. a Cobolt SS will cost more than a base stang.

The reason most kicked out was that it would be more expensive than GM was willing to spring for. But I think it also had to do with Cadillac having exclusive use of Sigma.
