Wouldnt a larger and more powerful 2007 v6 Camaro be more expensive then a loaded Cobalt SS S/C?

Well, just off the top of my head... I loaded Cavalier Z24 could sticker out around the base price of a V6 Camaro...

Considering the Cobalt is supposed ot be more of a "Premium small car" and not so much of a Cavalier replacement in the direct sense.... I could see a base Camaro coming in around the same area, or even slightly less... at least that makes sense to me...

I bet you can't find a 2004 Cobalt SS(SC) for $23,000 loaded.

A fully loaded 2005 Cobalt SS(SC) would probably stick around the same price though as said before.

That's why I said buy a Cobalt SS "IN" 2004 and not a 2004 Cobalt (it is still 2004 , right?)

You probably won't see any Cobalt SS's on lots unitl Jan '05.

The regular sedans will be available within a week or so.

Oh, you could buy a Cobalt SS(SC) in 2004, but your dealer will call you when your car comes to his/her dealer lot......in 2005.

If the sedans are in your area already, it's probably because it takes longer for them to get to SoCal from the factory then your area.

Oh, wait. I do see two have been delivered so far in Socal. Our first three should be here any day now.

Anyway, you still wont see any SS's before '05.

Does anyone honestly think a larger and more powerful V6 Camaro would be cheaper then a Cobalt SS s/c?

The Camaro (all variations) will also have smaller production numbers compared to the Cobalt (all variations) as well.

Even a base Monte with a weaker engine then a Cobalt SS s/c is around $23,000

So am I hearing this right, a Cobalt will cost more than a Mustang (non-GT)???
That can't be good.

Fords sells the v6 Mustang as such a good price is one of the reasons why the 4 cyl. and v6 Ford Probe got canned because a v6 mustang was a better deal and I think a v6 Mustang was actually cheaper then a v6 Probe.

A V6 Malibu sells for $21K MSRP with:
200-hp V6 engine
Four-wheel disc ABS with Traction Control
Power-adjustable pedals
Remote Keyless Entry
Driver-seat manual lumbar adjuster
AM/FM stereo with CD player and premium six-speaker audio system, includes Radio Data System

A 2007 v6 Camaro would most likely have around 250 HP and be considered a more expensive premium performance coupe.

V6 Camaro will cost 32k, and the V8 Camaro will cost in the 50's....

A base model V6 Camaro with nothing but radio, CD player, power windows locks, and cloth interior will probaby cost around 20k.
Compare that to the supercharged engine made in Germany, along with the mega stereo system, 18 inch wheels and tires, sunroof, short throw shifter, different brakes and suspension, leather interior, body kit and other doodads...yeah, I would hope that the Cobalt would be more expensive then a base Camaro.
I saw a V6 Mustang with leather and auto sticker for 24k....I would imagine that the Camaro would sticker about the same, if not a little more.
