Since GM has the resources of Holden and Fiat ( GM doesn't directly have Ferrari's aide, but Fiat does) I would have each company design a 2door four seat rear wheel drive car. This would allow two other companies to get use out of the development of a future camaro, hopefully making the car more profitable. It could also bring the introduction of a F-1 type AMT to the F- Body which would be very cool. Even if you don't want one, lots of people would think it was cool and buy the car just because its normally associated with very high performance cars.

That could possibly give the camaro a market outside the US. Holden makes performance cars with low costs, and Fiat could make a bargain ferrari. Chevrolet could take what it wants from both cars and get ideas for the upper and lower end of the camaro models.
I would definately like to see the paddle shift though. Supposedly the Caddy XLR will have something similair.
