An engine bay that looks like it fits a V8.

Actually, what I see is the demise of the Sigma platfrom, which has proven to be too expensive and inflexible. It looks as if GM is heading toward the sort of flexible architecture that Nissan pioneered with the FM platform.

Actually, when the CTS gets revamped, ('08?), Sigma will get revamped.

The argument that Sigma is too expensive is a myth propogated, for what I can only assume to be, internal political reasons. Sigma can be very flexible also.....perhaps more flexible than Zeta.

It is my belief that Sigma is far superior to Zeta...with comparable cost.

True. However I think red is actually saying more in his statement than the Torana TT36 isn't a Camaro. You just need to read between the lines.

I agree and disagree. Forget about the Zeta coupe getting a different name. I am convinced (until someone proves otherwise) that the rumor of it getting renamed is only a ploy by GM to cover up the fact that some early 5th gen Camaro information leaked out. They have successfully got folks arguing on whether or not the next Camaro will be on Zeta or not, which gives them more time to address other issues surrounding using "Camaro" on the Zeta coupe.

Meanwhile, they now have plenty of time to test the Torana TT36 concept platform for future production use, possibly even on a 6th gen Camaro some time after 2010.
