Sounds like somebody needs to be taken out back and flogged with a rubber hose.

Oops! Did I say that out loud?

The Element is an "Adventure Tool?" This is the last car I'd ever considering taking offroad. Personally, I'd call it a "Bigger-than-Civic Urban Two-Box."

I can't imagine the Element being anything noteworthy in the automotive world unless we're talking about Edsel, Aztek, etc. if it was about 95% smaller, it'd make an excellent doorstop. GT

the usefullness of the element intrigued me as well...saw one on the road the other day, whoa!!! made me want to

id like to think that element is ugly and it knows it; aztek just keeps cakeing on the makeup in hopes of improving its looks

id rather have a wrangler

This vehicle is being targeted at young people who believe that 4 door sedans can be cool. Just add a big stereo and 20" rims and you are good to go. Looks are not that important, but image and style are. Automakers have found a new way to market minivan style vehicles without the soccer mom baggage.

I looked at the Element at the Auto Show... my Lord, it is just horrific looking...

I did think the opposite opening doors were interesting though... to a point.

At least it proves Honda can come up with loser designs too...not just GM.

But because it has an H on the front and not a Pontiac V logo, it will sell 10 times more than the Aztek.

Look at the Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix duo, two underengined slugs in AWD form, then look at the Element.

Ha, let me take you for a ride in my mini-minivan! And they are not all wheel drive.

But my VW is twice the car any day of the week :-)

I would think the implication would be that when it comes to two piles of packaged crap, the general public prefers the one with the "H" label on it.

It was really more of a retorical question. I mean, did Honda win the Lotto or something? Like their cars or not.....they are well engineered and have built a loyal customer base. They must be doing something right............
