I saw one a while back on Memorial Drive in Houston as well. A purplish blue color. (No, no digital camera then, either. Don't worry, I take it with me wherever I go now.)

I believe the special edition (the purple ones) will be made this year in small quanities, and larger numbers will be made over the next 2 years. After that, no one is saying anything.

I see a red one and a yellow one pretty much every day. Course, I live abotu 2 miles from the GM proving grounds. LOL. But they are production ones I believe.
