I find this interesting...

Detroit-based GM sold a total of 155,334 light vehicles, while Ford sold a total of 131,102. Ford's total came in slightly below that of Toyota, which reported U.S. sales of 132,802 units.
So, as bad as things are for GM, and with all the negative publicity, they still manage to sell more vehicles than anyone else last month, beating Toyota by well over 20,000 units.

That is interesting. I always laugh when people say "GM doesn't build cars people want" when the raw data doesn't back that up at all.

IMO, GM creates this impression because most of their marketing is incentive-driven. When you see a GM commercial they rarely give you a reason to 'want' the car other than $X Cash Back.

Just another reason that they need to clean house.

That is good news despite all the negative press.

This is also the best month ever again for Pontiac G8 sales!!
