I need something reliable with decent gas mileage and some sportyness to it.

Saab 9-3
Subaru Legacy GT
these are going to be used....

any other car i should be thinking of.... and yes i need a 5-speed.

 

If I had to get rid of the Zed then I would probably look at the following cars, in this order:

1. Cadillac CTS
2. Subaru WRX
3. Infiniti G35

 

I agree with R377, go with a CTS, awesome styling with decent power and you'll stand out in a crowd of BMW's and Mercedes.

one question though, why is this in the 5th gen forum?

CTS, but you won't get the 3.6 w/ the 5 speed.

 

How much can you afford? (max monthly payment?)

 

i want to spend under 15000 i just bought 3 houses last month and going to school and working full time.... my schedule kinda sucks

 

If you are looking used , in that price range, an Grand Prix GTP Coupe might be a decent choice.

Or a Grand Am GT, maybe...

If you want RWD... you are kind of limited in choices... used Camaro/Firebird/Mustang ...

 

Eh, I reread your original post and some of this stuff is bad... can't get a 5-speed in the Grand Prix, so scratch that...

 

Yeah... an LS1, 6 spd Camaro.

Seriously.

All the guys I know with them swear they get around 28mpg on the highway.

Fits the criteria... reliable, decent gas mileage & sporty.

 

This is very true.

Plus you have choice of styling... Camaro or Firebird... whatever floats your boat.
