How are RX-8's selling?
I see a 350Z everyday.
As for the RX-8 they can't give those away from what I understand. I sat in one today and wasn't impressed. I also heard they are really slow but handle well. The dealer had some for as low as 29k up to 39k. Do I hear $5000 dollar rebates and 0% in the near future?

To put this in perspective, I've seen at least a dozen new 2004 Ford F150s to date.
Perhaps a bad omen if GM's considering producing a sedan that resembles the SS concept.

the "problem" with the RX8s not selling might be less to do with looks and more to do with the auto cars being really down on power compared to the manuals. and both being really down on torque. the average person is probably not going to go and put the kind of abuse into it to get the claimed performance out of it on a test drive. and an average dealer will probably not be happy if you did unless you decided to bag it. so it feels slow and gets a bad rep.
time for mazda to bring out the big guns and turbo it ahead of time, as they should have from the get go.
well it probly has somethign to due with the fact that Mazda are compulsive liars. They did the same over-rating HP on the RX-8 that they did with the miata a few years ago. Ive read some posts on the Renesis boards and people are only dyno'ing these at 170whp and 118ft/lbs compared to the 247hp advertised by mazda. Mazda has since fessed up and are offering buy-backs to all RX-8 owners that care. Theres a freshman in my residence hall, my GS-T walked him before I blew my tranny. Nice looking car none the less.
