How much do you think a fully loaded 2006 Charger will be?
True. that the base 2006 Hemi Charger might start @ $30,000 but after seeing DC's clever marketing tactics with the PT convertible and the Crossfire by offering a single base model that can not have options added on and if you want any additional features you are forced into another model/package at a $3000-$4000 premium.
Also most dealers wont keep the base/strippy model in stock since it used more as a marketing tool then anything and if they do get a strippy in they will certainly add aftermarket wheels and extra stuff to bump up the price.
Of course Im not even considering dealer price gouging for the first 6-12 months so I think a real world price for a loaded HEMI Charger will be close to $40,000

The 300C goes 13.8s with 335, so add about another 100hp and lose some weight, hello 12.5s
There is definitely a lot of excitement at Chrysler. However, I have a bit of difficulty grasping models and pricing.
300C starts at $32,000 with 5.7L Hemi, and loaded around 37,000.
Then we have regular V8 Charger, and then we will also have SRT Charger. Am I correct? If that's the case, then SRT should be selling above 40,000. We are talking Corvette performance, and I do not see this thing being in mid 30's for the performance it will offer.

Keep this in mind, Dodge's Charger is aimed to be equivalent to 300c, ie 4 doors. and chryslers are usually costing more upgraded models... the Hemi charger will be under 30k, I would not be surprised to see it at around 27k loaded, still under magnum wagon. SRT should be around 37k.
GM WHO?

Time to start skimming through the Summit catalogue...

I don't think Chevy is gonna let a 4 Door by Dodge get anywhere near the performance of a Base Corvette. Remember this is GM Flagship.

A mid 12 6.1 Charger will be close to the C6. Pretty insane huh?

1989 Turbo Trans Ams could at least match that year's Corvette on the track. The current supercharged Mustang Cobra is certainly capable of keeping up with base C5 Corvettes on the track. I'm not going to mention strip results for these 2 against the base C5 Corvette.
This is pretty damned exciting, I must say. I hope^100 that Dodge goes really old school and brings back Impact colors. I want my Charger in SASSY GRASS GREEN!
Nah, I'm more of a Vitamin C kinda guy.
AWD is great, why do you think the 225hp WRX is running such quick 1/4mile times? But it can be a bummer if it's too delicate to handle the strip.
With all these new cars coming out from Chrysler, the new Mustang....and hey, maybe GM will give us a Camaro in 4 years. Kinda hard to be brand loyal when they decide to just plod along behind all of the other brands.

Aren't the chargers going to be AWD though?
