How much do you think a fully loaded 2006 Charger will be?
No way! A fully loaded charger bette rnot be more then 30k. You can get a fully loaded magnum rt for 30k and it should be more expensive to make. Not to mention that its main competition will be the mustang gt and they want to keep it in that ball park. If they do make a new camaro, expect it to be in the same range.
Fully loaded Chrysler 300Cs are $37,000.
Chrysler seems like they tack $10,000 for SRT packages (save SRT-4). So I'm guseeing the upcoming 300SRT will be about $42,000 and the Charger 6.1 SRT will be in the neighborhood of $37,000.
Yes, there is a 300SRT coming.

) will probably go for low 40's....not high 40's.It will have an upgraded powertrain, ( probably a 6.1...but there are still rumors circulating about a supercharged 5.7), upgraded suspension, brakes and wheels (20's) and interior and exterior cosmetics.
It will be quite a comprehensive package.

It also seems the 6.1 V8 will ultimately be the replacement for the 5.7.
Since there probally wasn't any mention of a 6.0 LS2 when Chrysler began work on the 5.7 Hemi some years ago, it seems that Chrysler is intent on getting into a engine deathmatch GM.
To top that off, Ford's new upgraded "Hurricane" engine is in the works.
Yep. The horsepower race is on.

BTW, I think you guys ought to know this. Chrysler is intending that the Charger not only be relatively low cost (you should be able to get the base 6.1 Charger for under $30,000... no, I'm not smoking anything) but Chrysler intends this car to smoke former LS1 F-bodies (known as baseline performance targets), while the SRT version of the Charger is intended to at least match current Mustang Cobra performance.
It's very possible that a year or so from now, the Dodge Charger SRT will be the quickest accelerating car in the US with more than 2 seats.
No word yet on actual numbers. Just thought you'd like to know Chrysler's intentions on this thing.

I've also heard reports that Dodge intends to make the SRT Charger perform at or above base Corvette levels.
