IIRC they sold 399 Enzo's to their most exclusive clients. In fact Ferrari would contact you about having the honour should you agree to purchasing one of their cars but there was a 400th built which was given, not sold to Pope John Paul shortly before he passed away.

Eddie Griffin just crashed one on March 26th, 2007. He was practicing for a charity racing event at Irwindale Speedway and wrecked the front end.

Actually, the 400th Enzo was auctioned off for over a million dollars, and the proceeds were given to Pope Benedict for the victims of that big-*** tsunami that happened a couple years ago. Michael Schumacher also gave an F1 steering wheel to the Pope, along with a plaque that said something like "The F1 World Champion presents this wheel to His Holiness Benedict, Christianity's driver."

And I'm sure the pope was thrilled.

Am I the only one that got a mental image of him getting in, and getting the enormous pope-hat stuck in the door somewhere?

I am pretty sure ferrari have repaired nearly all of the wrecked enzos. Even if its just the vin number with all new parts

You are also missing a yellow one with a slight accident (similar damage to eddie's) in Dubai/Saudi Arabia

No he did it all by himself. Alcohol, money and Ferrari don't always mix.

And you know they're not just wrecking one of them, they've got to have several cars for all the different takes. They're not going to make any more of those.
The difference is the large number muscle cars made back then vs. 400 Enzos total:

1969 Charger:
69,000

1970 Challenger:
76,935

Keep in mind, those are the numbers for just ONE year. Are you really going to tell me that there really are less than 400 of either of those muscle cars in existence?

Im not sure if you already referenced this one(two of them sound like it), but a guy lost control of one here in Houston on Allen Parkway. From what I heard the car broke into several peices and caught on fire.
