What about that one in California, where the guy driving was not the owner of the car (he was an acquaintance), and he was drunk. He was speeding along, and lost control of the car somehow and literally split it in half when he hit a tree. After the accident, the driver got out of the vehicle and ran from the accident scene.
It's a good way to ensure the long term value of Enzo's continue to appreciate with so many idiots crashing them on an annual basis.
Who knows, in a decade or two there might twenty less Enzo's on the road.

If I had a car as rare as that, I would be afraid to have it leave the garage. This isn't meant as an insult to those who have wrecked as it can happen to anyone, but maybe some driving classes should be taken prior to buying such a car.
If I could afford one, I'd drive the hell out of it and you might see me on the news for running it into a wall at a racetrack. I'm no professional driver and I'm sure the Enzo could make that apparent really easily. If I wrecked it, yeah I'd feel bad, but I'd hopefully be able to fix it or buy another one.
I surely wouldnt pay a million dollars for a museum piece.

They destroy old mopars and other muscle cars in movies all the time. There's a new movie from Quentin Tarentino where they destroy a 70 challenger, 69'ish charger and some other muscle car yet nobody utters a word about it. And you know they're not just wrecking one of them, they've got to have several cars for all the different takes. They're not going to make any more of those.
