How do you get a off shore car in the USA for good.

I saw the post on the Falcon and I was wondering what it takes to import a car into the country and keep it in the states for good. What is need to do this. I Found a few used Tuscan S TVRs for sale for upper 30s low 40s US money. Hmmmmmmmmmm...

To import a car, you must make it meet Fed Crash Ratings and Car standards. For a Tuscan? Plan on spending another $40K to have it legal....
