How come there are no magazine tests yet for the GTO

I thought GTO production didn't start until Sept. and then sales start in Nov. 03?

Pontiac Enthusiests(sp) Magazine had a first drive on the GTO in the last issue, but no real hard performance #'s. Said it would roast the tires though 1st, 2nd, and 3rd...then they said it come with 235 tires...no wonder it'll burn em so easily. They came away very impressed.
