How about a mid range Vette? improving the Z51

The Z51 package on the new C6 is awesome and worth the extra $1495.

I think the Z51 would be even better with say.. an LS2 hot cam installed from the factory.

Then charge $2495 for the Z51 w/ hot cam package that ups the base LS2 to a ~430HP rating and you would have a nice little mid range Vette package.

It then could trickle down to the Camaro with a hot cam Z28 and hot cam GTO

or just make the Z51 come with the 6.2 V8 with 440hp, then the Z28 gets a "mild" model making 430.

Just my input....

No, I mean Z28. Therefor the Z51 and Z28 get the same engine, just "detuned" for Camaro.

What i think he means is that "Z28" is the RPO code for the V8 engine equipped camaros and therefore they are called the Camaro Z28. If it came with the "z51" engine it would have the "Z51" RPO code and be called the Camaro Z51...

or at least thats what i think hes trying to say.
