Proportions are JUST right. It has more of that original Honda Civic hatch spirit than any Civic in the last 7-8 years.
The positive in this, is that for the time being that Japanese "innovation" is in hibernation mode. The negative, is once the Korean H starts kicking ***, the Japanese giants will more than likely wake from their slumber and GM/Ford will be in REAL trouble on a worldwide scale.

Hyundai has no intention of tackling GM like Toyota and Honda does. They plan on erasing the gains by ToyoHonda.

That Accent hatch certainly looks sweet. Build it in the US, get the power-to-weight ratio optimized (more of the former and less of the latter) and I'd consider buying one.
ProudPony, I'd be careful in comparing Korea to China. The Koreans don't have a particularly low cost structure, but they're creative and they work their asses off. Just look at what companies like Samsung have been doing in the consumer electronics market.

Again, they rally. I think you will see a AWD WRX/EVO model. This thing will sell. I think the US is ready for the Hatch back again. Aud/VW/mazda have them out and Volvo has one on the way.
