Holy Buick!

Hyundai does have a history of ripping off other manufacturers. I liked the azera the first time I saw it, but these pictures just totally accentuate the buick effect! does anyone else see this?

Re: Holy Buick!

Car's been out for awhile already. Doesn't look much like a Buick to me in person.

Re: Holy Buick!

Black car with black rims = Buick?....GNX?...

I don't see it either.

Now, if it was silver with wire hubcaps, I could see some 'Century' in it....

I see what you're getting at actually. And to add to that, it's sad Buick doesn't look more original than it does.

Exactly. I don't know what would be distinctive enough about Buick's new models to actually imitate.

Re: Holy Buick!

that pic makes it look like a Toyota nose on an Audi body.

Re: Holy Buick!

I don't see Buick at all, I do see a heavy Audi influence in everything except the front end.

Thats what I was thinking, a Regal with a Hyundai badge. It looks just as uninspiring as a Hyundai as well

Re: Holy Buick!

I do see some Regal in it from those angles (the version just prior to the LaCrosse coming out). Hadn't noticed that before.

On a side note, related to SEMA (checked out the other pics while I had that window open), why did the SEMA version of the Solstice get wheels that SUCK compared to the stock ones. Totally changes (and lessens) the look of that car. If someone paid extra money on top of the stock Solstice to have those wheels put on, I'd have to smack them.
