Holden Crewman - LS1 powered Dual-cab ute

Found these pics of the latest addition to the Holden range, and thought you might be interested in them. It is based on the Commodore platform, and called the Holden Crewman, it is RWD. There iwll be an AWD version later inthe year called Cross8, and probably a high-performance version called HSV XUV.

With a more aggressive fascia and a lower stance I'd build my own boat and import me one.

Good competitor to Subaru Baja... save for AWD.

Actually I chopped up a copy of a nice white one. It's a little ugly around the rocker, but if you don't look at the super-sized version it should be fine.

The variety that they offer on one platform never ceases to impress me.

Thanks!

If they ever sell this car here I'll be able to do better pics (using drop spindles/airbags instead of photo-retouching).

(I used GIMP to do this since I'm on a UNIX workstation)

Reminds me of the Holden Cross 8 concept.
The Crewman is the RWD model, the Cross8 is the AWD model. The Cross8 will be released later this year or early next year.

They should bring the Cross 8 over here to the States. Imagine, a Chevy-badged, crew-cab, V-8 powered, AWD, modern day El Camino? How would that be for a cross-over!?
