Maybe old news to some, but I just watched it tonight.
Four customizing teams were given brand new HHR's and 4 weeks to build them.
"Darkside Motors"
"Year One"
"PTeasers"
"Unique Performance"(home of Elanor the movie Stang)
Pretty wild stuff; big speakers, speakers in helmets, amps, monitors, body kits, wild paint, slammed stances, Supercharged LS2, another carbed V8, rear vehicle mounted Turbo, roll cage, window nets, racing seats, lots a fiberglass etc.etc.etc..
The HHR has a LOT of potential, tho a V8 requires extensive frame and sheetmetal modifications. But the Turbo, @ +150hp was cool!.
The body kits and painted grills and big wheels, transformed them into really cool rides...

 

I'd drive the wee out of an LS2 HHR......17 or 18" TTII's or the like, tinted windows, yep.

 

I wonder if they'll make a TT2-like AR for the HHR. YUMMY I can see it now...gunmetal HHR, tinted windows, TT2 look-alikes...

I am lusting after a Chevy station wagon Either something was in the water in BG, or Chevy is finally making products I WANT!!!!

 

I'm going to have to catch this programming. An LS2 in a HHR, this I got to see!
