For those of you who attended Bowling Green.....
For those of you who attended Bowling Green.....
My sincerest thanks for travelling far and wide to be with friends, once again.
Nope.......we didn't come anywhere near 1,000 cars, but what a great time and what GREAT friends. That's what this is all about...friends who share a love of Camaros and Firebirds.
Great time at Sonic Burger......(all that horsepower just sittin' around...)
Tours of the plant and museum...........several road trips to KY Down Under and Shaker Village.......a seminar with Sam Mona (GM Design Studio....RWD Architecture.....your chance to talk to a designer about what you're looking for.....).......JeffY is ALWAYS a great guest and can give real insight to the Fbody and Corvette..................WAY too much fun on 'The Back Porch" each nite...........and the 'football' issue.............a surprise Birthday party TWICE....once at Smoky Bones and another at the Banquet..................a chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones........great cruise to the 1869 Homestead.......great food and great sunset........then there was the trip to the Go-Karts..................an incident with the Police featuring a Camaro B4C.......(hope that poor girl wises up and distances herself....) (Damn, Millie, you shoulda taken him out with BabyT!).........some great times on the Autocross track and drag strip...........more hanging out on the 'Back Porch'..........lotsa great cars........(Mark, the Gran Sport is a work of art........simply magnificent.......thanks for the ride!)..........CamaroZ28.com breakfast with old friends and lotsa talk...........Tim and the 'lock-up' box........(thanks, select few, for your input!)..............and a memorable banquet..........raised well over $8K for the museum......will post the figure later.................and THANK YOU to Letitia Maly (Vana) and Joe Tucillo (Joey Red) for helping with the auction.........
Can't forget to thank all my volunteers for working to make this a great event......
Most of all.......thank YOU for being a part of another great event.
Let's do it again next year..........make sure you tell your friends!
(challenge still stands........1,000 Camaros and Firebirds combined and I quit smoking for good!)

Re: For those of you who attended Bowling Green.....
I know I came last minute and all but I wish I had planned this whole thing out a little better.. It was great and I didn't even have a chance to participate as much as I would have liked..
Tt's always a treat meeting you and I had a nice albeit hurried discussion with Mr. Sam Mona.. hopefully we cross paths again soon.
(Oh yeah and you have a gorgeous Z06....)

Re: For those of you who attended Bowling Green.....
I felt like a complete idiot...poSSum invited me to Sonic for Wed night. Oh, Ash and I went to Sonic...the wrong friggen Sonic!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had no idea there were 2 right by the museum. Damn, those places are popular!! I counted 4 in BG alone!!
Great event we have only missed one that was the first one, only because we did not know about it in time. We meet more great friends every year and always look forward to seeing old friends. With all the great events that go on at BG I think what I enjoy the most is the nights in the parking lot at the hotel sitting around with a lot of great people and just talking F-CARS. Our hotel room is already reserved for next year. And Detroit is a Great place to be in January, me and my wife will be there, Hope to see many of you there.

Right up the road from me and I missed it. arg! I was up in Detriot getting engaged. The car highlight for me this weekend was seeing a ZO6 on I-75 on the way to the airport.

I'm just glad I wasn't dis-owned because I drove the Corvette...LOL!
As I told some who attended, my C5 was originally sold in Autin, TX....then to Houston....then to Salt Lake City, UT....where I bought it and brought it back to Indiana.....I was just taking it "home" again. LOL!
Had a great time, for the short time I was there....
BTW, I've been to all 5 BG's.

Doug.. was that your Nassau Blue C5???
OMG.. LOL.. I parked right in front of you at the BBQ and saw your car at Microtel Inn... Sheesh.. I didn't even remember at the time that it could have been you...
(That was you right?)
Ironically... we were right in front of you on Friday afternoon as we rolled into the Museum...
