And did you see what HHR stands for? High Heritage Roofline. How gay.
Are you serious? If so that is the most classic GM screwup ever! Even funnier than its slow murder of the F-body!

Overkill? Consider this...

Right now, what does Chevy have for "crossovers"?? Awww, what a cute little Tracker...what a POS that is compared to the competition.

But now by '05 we're gonna have a Malibu Maxx, an Equinox AND an HHR? What the hell is this?? Ok then...

Cowger also showed the GM's first official photos of the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette. Based on one photo, it will be the first Corvette since 1962 with fixed position headlights.

Looks like we'll be seing this in about a month or two...with people like Branden seeing it in a few weeks It took the GTO a few months for its embargo to expire right?

Don't forget the offerings from other divisions, like Pontiac's Vibe and the Aztec/Rendevous (assuming they're still around by the time the HHR launches). That's in addition to whatever wagons are available in the Saturn line-up. Seems like way too much overlap to me, but maybe this thing will do quite well once folks wake up and understand that SUVs aren't what they really need.

The HHR does not look overly retro to me. I do see some concern for the overlap and the acronym itself isn't as bad as what it stands for. It's got to be smaller than it appears in the sketch as well if it's going against the PT Cruiser.

Yea, and if its going to be on the Delta...isn't the Delta kinda limited to 'smaller' cars?

Take the HHR and upsize it (i.e. make it bigger) and I think it would make a pretty cool Tahoe replacement.

Chevy is really copying the PT formula to a tee....the PT Cruiser is built on the Neon chassis, so a Cavalier-based HHR would make perfect sense I guess. :blah:
