Hhr

here is a sketch of the HHR. Don;t know who drew it, or how correct it is, but thought I would pass it along.

I imagine this is to run along with the Bel air and SSR to be the next "halo" car for GM and to help make a profit for the SSR, using the same chassie (just a guess). is the HHR going to use the same motor as the SSR, i imaging the I5 will be too small for the HHR

Looks like a cross between a Dodge Ram and a PT Cruiser.

I remember reading a long time ago that the HHR was originally meant to be the "me too!" version of the PT cruiser. But at the 2002 and 2003 Detroit Auto show the concept never appeared. So everyone here just assumed it was dead. I posted and asked a while back what happened with it and no one really knew. I hope it remains dead. I'd rather not see GM slip into dependency on retro.

I think it looks alot better up close like that. Concerning the C6, so far I'm liking what I'm seeing. The rear end looks like it's sill going to be rather large, though.

I like it and I agree it does look relatively larger, although to my eye it seems like a lower and longer Tahoe (mirrors and everything behind) but like the front end in that pic with those big rims. Can't help but say that I see a little Equinox influence as well) wonder what will power this? a Turbo I-5 maybe?

Because...don't you know the world needs a "Me-Too" PT Cruiser? I see Nesbitt worked on it...not much of a surprise since he did the Cruiser for Chrysler.

So now we have the Malibu MAXX wagon and this HHR wagon thing...nothing like PRODUCT OVERLAP in the SAME DIVISION!!!!

Did anyone read this at that Autoweek link???

"Cowger also showed the GM's first official photos of the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette. Based on one photo, it will be the first Corvette since 1962 with fixed position headlights."
Soooo where can we find these pictures????????

I don't think it's bad. Misplaced, but not bad.

Instead of creating new separate vehicles for this look, why not simply incorperate it into existing vehicles. This new SSR/HHR look would have been better used to create a different look between Chevy & GMC trucks IMHO.

Do you really think hundreds of thousands of people want to own a retro fleet truck?

I also would like to see the official GM pics of the Vette.

And did you see what HHR stands for? High Heritage Roofline. How gay.
