Here's a pic of Chevy's proto 05 sub-$25,000 performance car!

While this is just a picture of a concept I believe this will be very similar to what Chevy will be offering in 2005 as its affordable performance coupe/hatchback.

Yes, its a supercharged 4cyl. FWD (Delta platform) Calvalier replacement pumping out over 200HP.
NOTE: this pic is most likely just another good photoshop job of an Opel so take it for what ever its worth

They can keep it. And if any1 at Chevrolet is reading, TAKE THAT bar OFF OF Chevy CARS. And keep it far away from the 5th Gen Camaro. Learn how to make nice cars again already!!

looks like you won't be getting a GM anytime soon in the future. The car reminds me of Celica quite a bit. To tell you the truth, I don't know if I like it or hate (meaning the direction in which this car is taken). I remember when new JBody came out in 95 I disliked them profusely. I thought that they ruined a perfectly good car, the previous gen Cavalier/Sunbird. What do you know, I have come to like Cavalier (actually Z24) even to this day, and the older ones simply don't do anything for me anymore. They are just old, styling is old. I am sure that this is how I will come to view Cavalier's replacement and current Cavalier in 5 years' time.
More Delta-platform Ion Quad-coupe pics that hint to all of GMs sub-$25,000 performance cars. I really think what going on at Saturn is a preview of what Chevy and Pontiac will be doing in the next year or two. Like it or not FWD (maybe AWD) fourbangers is all GM will be offering in car-based performance for around $20,000.

I am not sure what, but there is something in this ION coupe that doesn't cut it for me. I have yet to figure out what it is.
My neighbour 3 houses over just bought ION 4-door sedan. Somehow it reminds me of 60's Citroen - no pleasant lines, ugly "made-in-third-world-country" front end, and styling that is not proportional.
Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I do not happen to be that beholder.

THat car isn't to bad (not my style though)
If they could make it turbo AWD I think it would do Damn good against the Evo, WRX, and next gen AWD SVT Focus, it looks A LOT better than all of those cars
