First photo of a Zeta.....yes, indeedy.

No doubt the new Riv seems inspired by the Lexus SC430.

in fareness, the picture is a bit blurry so its hard to tell, but it seems to look pretty classy so far. better than the lexus for sure.

I wonder if the Cama...er...the "Chevy Coupe" will share it's cowl height and A-pillar?

You guys still think I'm friggin nuts?!

GONGOS+styling+clinic+concept.jpg

Pay particular attention to my first attempt at the styling clinic car. Look at the similarity in dimensions (all dimensions) between the Riviera and the styling clinic car. Coincidence, I think not. I started photochopping the SS concept the same night of the clinic and paid extra attention to the dimensions. I sure hope they did something about the grille.

Yes,
I just tried posting some pictures for comparison purposes and it looks like someone doesn't want me to.

Nope turns out I'm just paranoid (typo in http TAG).

Here's a head to head comparison between the Riviera and the GONGOS car (1st attempt). This way you guys don't get browser whiplash

That was my reaction to it, although I like the Buick better already. The Lexus is downright ugly, this car while slightly resembling a jelly bean is less eccentric.

I think that Buick looks excellent! It looks much better than the SC430 which I think is one of the ugliest cars on the road. I think the similarity between the two is the headlight treatment. I am sure the back looks much better than the Lexus as well. I love trhe portholes too, I have always been a fan.

I agree, they have a simalar look, but the Buick is way better.

This is the first thing I thought of when I saw the Buick over at Cheers and Gears. Nice work!

I have concerns about it being a bit too 'bubbly' for a Camaro, though.... but, I know it is very hard to tell form stuff like this...

Well, this is the first confirmation of danno02SS's sighting! I'm amazed at how close that photoshop might be to the real thing. I can certainly see the influence from the SS concept now.

I wonder if that was really close to a final concept, or if they still had tweaking to do with the design.....

That was my first impression too. But now that I look at them next to each other, I notice some larger differences. The Buick seems to be longer in proportion to the width. It may be an illusion, but it certainly makes it look a little lower. Given the choice, I prefer the buick. It makes the Lexus look stubby and compact (in a bad way).

Remember that it was mentioned that this is only a concept, so I think there are still small changes that'll be made.
