Lotsa people crack their windows no matter how cold or how hot or what kind of precipitation is falling out of the sky.
Smokers are one group that come to mind.

Hmmm, my dad smoked in his vette all the time. It had a flush designed A pilar, and I don't recall water ever coming in. In fact, the relative low pressure outside kept the water out.

I'm not trying to start anything, I just hope that that C6 A pilar is not that unsightly just so that people can feel free to drive in the rain w/ their windows cracked. It looks terrible on that car, and frankly, I wouldn't wouldn't design something that ugly into a sports car just to make smokers happy. Heck, the CTS doesn't even have a cigarette lighter or an ashtray for heavens sake.

I wasn't saying just smokers. Only that they are one group of people that tend to drive with their windows cracked, rain or shine.
I'm sure that there are lotsa other demographic groups that drive with their windows cracked. I just can't think of them.

I see alot of cars here in Central New York with their windows cracked, no matter what the weather.

Ahhh, must be a regional thing then. The only people here that don't drive w/ the windows full up are the poor souls whose A/C is inop, and they're running full down w/ reverse mounted wind deflectors . 107 degree highs tend to get the windows shut.

B.T.W. gotta keep the windows up here during the rain to keep the hail stones out .
