Welp, I think all the people looking for a new and different, attention getting status symbol....have already purchased their H2's.

Now GM may want to consider making them more usable for people who actually need or want a truck. Maybe a truck that's alittle different. (should I trademark that?)

First order of business.....make a diesel available.

Second order of business....make the interior more useable and less chintzy.

Third order of business.....the 30-something chick market, is NOT your segment.

Um, actually, yea.

To anyone that's followed trends in the upper-end SUV market in the past 5 years, it's clear that a new models spends a few months on top, and then slides down to make room for the next champion of conspicuous consumption.
Ditto that.

It's interesting that you and I are on opposing sides of the CAFE argument. Maybe we're not, just at odds over the solution.

The H2 is a $50,000, 6000lbs, 11mpg, 5 passenger vehicle , with a cheap interior and poor visibility.

It can't be a hot seller forever.
You got that right!

I sat in my 1st H2 at the LA show, and was extremely dissappointed with the thing. H2 was always the only large SUV I actually liked, but it's interior is complete crap in quality next to a Chevy suburban, let alone a Ford Expedition and especially next to even a Lincoln Aviator. There were cheap pieces everywhere, some were loose, others seemed like they wouldn't last a year of just regular (not even off road) use. The outward visibility was horrendous.

I pretty much hate all large SUVs, but I used to think the H2 was at least cool. Not anymore.
