Talking GTO suspension

I haven't heard a lot about GTO suspension / steering / braking. As far as brakes, I'd say 4-wheel disc should be mandatory. Do we know anything about the GTO's suspension? I think two levels are in order: a "luxury cruiser" soft ride suspension standard, then a WS6 equivalent optional. They could sell about 50/50. If two sets of hardware are not a possibility, at least provide computer-selectable firmness settings. Let's hear what you guys have heard.

Just make sure the suspension is well engineered and everything matches.. Maybe somethign relatively soft sprung, with decently thick sway bars, and shock valving thats dead on....

i heard the rear IRS has a noticable camber change thru travel.. but how bad it actaully is...?

I would guess GTO's suspension would be a near 100% carryover from Monaro.... they may adjust the shocks valving/stiffness, and even go as far as different spring rates, but that's probably about it...

All pretty much carryover from Monaro, including suspension, 4 wheel discs, electric tilt seats (which I didn't particularly like on Monaro) and for all intents and purposes, no options. The investment seemingly went to the nose & rear bumper, dual tailpipes, and kicking the LS1 up to 360hp & increased torque.

Moonroof will be optional, and of late there's been a belief that the LS6 will be optional the 1st year, but other than that, that's the options list.

Makes sense... with a limited number being produced.... why bother complicating things and adding the extra expense of offering a lot of options...

I kind of figured everything would be pretty much standard. To be honest, I'm surprised the moonroof isn't just a standard too... I figured the ordering prcess would be:

1) I'd like a GTO....
2) What color, sir?

lol.

Heh. My ordering process would be:

1.) I'd like a Camaro Z28.
2.) Uhm...GM discontinued those models.
3.) Oh yeah, I forgot.
4.) Have you considered a GTO?
5.) You mean the Monaro?.....Where is the nearest Ford SVT dealership?

This wasn't worthy of a new thread so I'm putting it here in case anyone knows: Will the GTO be able to interface with XM Satellite Radio ?

That said, how is the handling of the Monaro? are we talking BMW-esque or (no offense guys) mushy Fbody with lots of body roll?

Will the new GTO zig?
