GTO Rim tire and brake changes

The production wheels have some distinctiveness to them, they don't have the hard-to-clean edge for clamp-on weights, and they still have a little muscle heritage in the five-spoke layout. Yet they look more contemporary than the five-spokes that came with my TA. And hooray for the 245's... I was wondering how a 350 hp car was going to get anywhere with 225's.

the 18 inch show rims are better looking to me. plus the brakes look nice. though they do have the rotors on backwards. the brakes on the pre-production version look really small and boring.

What are the specs on the brakes?
I'm not crazy about the somewhat daisy flower looking wheel design on the production version posted. The concepts does have a cleaner/smoother looking design. That's all right though. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the stock factory wheels anyways since there's always the aftermarket
. I'd like to see one with 18" torq thrusts.

The production design is exactly the same except they added that weird, uneccessary, outlining on the edges of the spokes.

1. It's 17" vs 18".
2. The spokes have the new strengthening flanges on their edges. Might seem paradoxical but those flanges you call 'weird' likely make the wheel lighter by reducing stress concentrations at the big end of the spoke. I like the new flanges. The spokes on the concept were far too generic and anonymous.
3. The rim edge is concave now (convex on the concept). It makes the rim look light and "deflated" (again, probably is lighter this way).
IMO they should have continued that outline throughout the whole spoke instead of turning in 3/4s of the way. I'd like to see that PhotoShopped.
