GM's new sales incentives are not as good the last ones!!
The GM incentives that just ended last weekend were better then the new incentives that just started.
Last month I bought a Ion Quad-Coupe and got a $1000 rebate + 0% financing but GM's current program only lets you choose either $2000 cashback OR 0% financing.
Is GM just holding back on incentives until August or Septemeber to really blowout whats left of the 2003 models or has the whole rebate and 0% financing taken its toll since its no longer bringing the people into the showrooms so GM is reducing the incentives to try to make more money on each sale?
Interest rates are still low and money is still cheap so why are the new incentives worse now then a month ago?

I found this info (PDF) on regional sales incentives @ http://www.gm.com/automotive/vehicle...eg_incent.html
Sure it's a Daewoo, but...two cars for $219/mo...
In Philadelphia this weekend, they were advertising Daewoos: buy one get one free!! . They were also supposedly "backed by GM with a 5/60,000 warranty".
