Saturn Hits QVC For Sales

"Move over Delta Burke: General Motors and QVC are teaming up for a special televised sale of Saturn vehicles. Next Tuesday, at 10 p.m. ET, QVC will broadcast information on the 2003 Saturn lineup, and will link shoppers through telephone and the channel’s Web site to specialized Saturn offers. GM says the vehicles won’t actually be sold on the air, but that callers will be able to ask more about Saturn’s ION compacts, VUE sport-ute, and L-Series mid-size sedan and wagon."

Maybe if they made some cool cars they wouldn't have to do that nonsense.

Eh, if you can't buy them... what's the big deal?

Saturn has fixed pricing, so why not sell them?

Obviously trade-ins would be out, or at the best very difficult, but straight sales could be done, I'd think.
