GM restyles the Aveo.
Re: GM restyles the Aveo.
When people in Asia and Europe say Chevrolet...this is the car they'll think of. Hope it works out.
Am I the only one who thinks an Aveo SS is a good idea? A blown Ecotec and 5 speed would be neat.
EDIT: with a spoiler delete, please.

Looks very good, much better than the current car. Looks like a better smaller version of the Malibu. Are those engines Ecotecs??
when does it go on sale in the USA?

Since it had no effect on the Vette, I'm not to worried about the Camaro.
Re: GM restyles the Aveo.
the 100hp/100tq Aveo merely given a throaty exhaust strapped to a 2.2L Ecotec motor in the N/A Cobalt would honestly be pretty impressive over stock form. That literally boosts hp and tq by 50% (with a throaty exhaust for a few more hp) in a car thats 500lb lighter in sedan form then the sedan cobalt.
You might not think it's a big deal, but a 50% increase in hp and tq is nearly the same as going from a 3.8L to the LS1 in a 1998 Camaro...
Granted its not quite apples to apples, but you get the idea. Also the 2.2L is only rated 2mpg less city and highway, where the boosted motor would suffer more. this would keep mpg very very reasonable while adding a LOT of power.
But I'd prefer a boosted version... though it'd never have traction.

Can we even imagine a Camaro with that style front end without getting sick?
