GM Poorly Represented at the Louisville Auto Show

I was so disappointed, no concepts and very, very few if any future products on display. Lets go down the list

No...'06 Corvette Z06
No...'06 Impala or SS
No...'05 Impala SS (just base model)
No...'06 Monte Carlo or SS
No...'05 Monte Carlo SS (just base model)
No...'06 HHR
No...'06 Trailblazer SS
No...'05 Malibu or Malibu Maxx
No...'05 Cadillac CTS-V
No...'06 Cadillac STS-V
No...'06 Cadillax XLR-V
No...'06 Buick Lucerne
No...'06 Pontiac G6 Coupe or Convertible or GXP
No...'06 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP
No...'05 Pontiac Bonneville GXP
No...'06 Pontiac Solstice

Here is what they did bring

Hummer H3 and Chevrolet Equinox SS (I guess that is what it was)

Here is what other companies brought, future products/concepts

Dodge Charger
Dodge Magnum SRT-8
Chrysler 300C SRT-8
Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 Convertible
Jeep Willes 2 Concept
Ford Mustang GT Convertible
Ford Mustang (Yellow high preformance model, not sure what it was)
Ford Fusion

Plus many imports had future models on display.

it is Louisville, not exactly a high priority show for them.

I guess you are right, Ford pretty much owns the town since Explorer, Ranger and Heavy Duty Trucks are all built there. No need to compete against the competition. No need to try and increase sales. They should probably pull there products from the area.

Sounds like St. Louis. Our auto show is actually a "dealer-show" It looks like a big official show, but all we get are what is currently on dealer lots and maybe a concept or two if they're not scheduled for other shows. Its sponsored by the St. Louis Asociation of Dealers, not the actual manufactures. Sounds like the same setup you get.

What show I haven't heard of anything like that? Are you talking about the new car sales thing at the fair grounds?
