agreed...

Not just that but the grille if you pull the dividers out from inside the lights. The flat sides of the car, and the wider stance. I think the reason the Camaro's interior caught so much flak was partly the bright orange color.

Sorry my bad on the Mays/Guigiaro...
The original article stated a 'collaboration...'

There's a reason this car has FordGT --> GR-1 influences...
The next redesign was drawn up by the same people/person

I still stand by the 2010 though for other reasons..

Still looks very Mustang to me.

However, I'm a heathen who thinks the original Camaro was more-or-less a carbon-copy of the Mustang, so it's not surprising that retro versions of each car end up looking similar.

^^ Looks quite European to me, I'd go so far as to say very "Bangle BMW-ish"

I really like that roof. Wow, if that was available on the Camaro, i would get it. I would also consider other pony car type cars if they had that.

What next mustang? In 2010 it will probably be Mustang by Scion in an all new weather friendly FWD configuration with a high output 1.1 liter 100 HP I4

I love the glass roof. That is really cool, I'd buy that as an option in a second! But it would be a pain in the *** to keep clean, and seems kind of cold and probably weighs a ton. The interior was taken straight from the Camaro Concept playbook, but they decided to add cowhide to the seats, I guess to make it more Horse like. Doesn't do much for me.

The front end looks pretty good too. It's no Camaro though.

Overall I dig it, except for the glass roof, interior and tail execution (more so the lights than anything else), I'd also opt for the current car's side glass rather than gills. I wonder how it would look with a shaker

The lack of any solid roof lines where the windshield should end would really throw me off (it just looks different), but I think it's pretty freakin' cool.

I doubt they could pass crash standards with that roof. But ya never know? heh
