Giugiaro Mustang Concept.
I have my doubts about this car having a lot to do with the Mustang redesign. There have been many custom car builders and designers who have done one-off concepts based on current vehicles, Corvette included, and they have never amounted to much more than a "gee-whiz" design study.
agreed...
Not just that but the grille if you pull the dividers out from inside the lights. The flat sides of the car, and the wider stance. I think the reason the Camaro's interior caught so much flak was partly the bright orange color.
Sorry my bad on the Mays/Guigiaro...
The original article stated a 'collaboration...'
There's a reason this car has FordGT --> GR-1 influences...
The next redesign was drawn up by the same people/person
I still stand by the 2010 though for other reasons..

What next mustang? In 2010 it will probably be Mustang by Scion in an all new weather friendly FWD configuration with a high output 1.1 liter 100 HP I4
I love the glass roof. That is really cool, I'd buy that as an option in a second! But it would be a pain in the *** to keep clean, and seems kind of cold and probably weighs a ton. The interior was taken straight from the Camaro Concept playbook, but they decided to add cowhide to the seats, I guess to make it more Horse like. Doesn't do much for me.
The front end looks pretty good too. It's no Camaro though.

Overall I dig it, except for the glass roof, interior and tail execution (more so the lights than anything else), I'd also opt for the current car's side glass rather than gills. I wonder how it would look with a shaker
that exactly what i was thinking when i said the whole roof thing is wierd.. i'm still not sure if i like it or not..
